The Grand Teton Tour from Jackson Hole

This fabulous tour captures a full day of spectacular Teton vistas and extraordinary wildlife. Your experienced guide is a master at weaving the exciting tale of natural history, geology, ecology and human effect — all of which have left their colorful strokes upon the valley. This tale is an unforgettable education, taught while in an interactive, living classroom. Included is a Jenny Lake scenic boat ride offering rugged Teton Mountain views and wildlife encounters while learning about the flora and fauna of the park.

There's a stop for a lunch break. Lunch is "on your own", and there are many options depending on the day's tour route, weather and road conditions. Your group may opt to have a picnic or have lunch at one of the park restaurants.

In the afternoon, you will explore the Grand Teton / Jackson Hole Valley historic cabins, barns and river boat ferry while learning about the Pioneer Lifestyle. Wildlife often seen are Bison, Antelope, Elk, Fox, Bald Eagles, Pelicans and a possible Grizzly Bear or Wolf! Return to Jackson around 3:30 pm.

Customer Comments:

"The guides were top notch in every aspect of what a perfect guide/host should be. Extremely knowledgeable and informative about the history and geography of the land. The guides had general enthusiasm and were very entertaining with their own personal stories on what they saw on other tours that they had given. They were very courteous and cared about the welfare of the customers. Also enjoyed the fact that they are a small touring company and gave very personalized service. The guides made the trip fun and entertaining while giving their customers first hand experiences with the lay of the land. I would take the same tours over again."
